Fastbreak Basketball Summer Camp is designed for young athletes who want a serious, fun, and competitive basketball experience. Players develop their skills through structured drills, conditioning, competitions, mini games, and live gameplay.

This co-ed full-day program runs Monday through Friday from June 15th to September 4th. Campers are split into two age-based divisions: NCAA for ages 7–10 and NBA for ages 11–14. Each day starts at Carl Schurz Park and finishes at Fastbreak HQ with a mix of outdoor training, indoor gameplay, skill development, conditioning, competitions, and awards.

Camp Details

  • Dates: June 15th – September 4th | Monday through Friday
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Drop-Off: 9:00 AM at Carl Schurz Park, courts by the river
  • Pick-Up: 3:00 PM at Fastbreak Sports, 1629 1st Avenue
  • Daily Rate: $180 per day
  • Weekly Rate: $800 per week — save $100
Lunch: Lunch add-on is available for $14/day and includes pizza, Gatorade, water, and a snack. Families not using the lunch add-on should pack a nut-free lunch, water, and snack.

NCAA

Ages 7–10
Best for younger players building confidence, fundamentals, basketball IQ, and competitive habits.

The NCAA division focuses on strong basketball foundations through skill work, team play, competitions, and age-appropriate game situations.

Players work on dribbling, passing, shooting, spacing, defense, conditioning, footwork, and learning how to compete in a positive team environment.

NBA

Ages 11–14
Best for older players ready for faster pace, stronger competition, and higher-level basketball concepts.

The NBA division challenges campers with more competitive drills, conditioning, decision-making, live gameplay, and game-speed skill development.

Players are pushed to improve shooting, ball handling, finishing, defensive effort, communication, and their ability to compete with confidence.

No. The camp is open to players of all skill levels. Coaches work with campers on fundamentals while providing challenges and instruction appropriate for more experienced players.

Yes. This is a drop-off camp supervised by Fastbreak’s experienced basketball coaches and camp staff.

Depending on age group and skill level, campers will participate in scrimmages, small-sided games, competitions, and game situations throughout the camp experience.

Many campers attend without knowing other participants. Coaches create a welcoming environment that encourages teamwork, confidence-building, and positive social interaction.

Basketball programming primarily takes place outdoors in the morning and indoors during the afternoon.

If outdoor activities are impacted by weather, coaches will adjust programming and provide alternative activities whenever possible based on facility access and camp operations.

Campers are supervised throughout the day by experienced coaches and staff members who focus on safety, skill development, sportsmanship, and creating a positive camp environment.

Please pack a nut-free lunch, water, and snacks. A lunch add-on is available for $14 and includes 2–3 slices of pizza, Gatorade, water, and a snack.

Families will receive a detailed welcome email with drop-off and pick-up instructions before camp begins.

Yes. Any alternate pickup person must be listed as an authorized contact and may be required to present identification at pickup.
