Travel Team Overview
Team Hustle’s Winter Travel Program offers girls in grades 3–8 an exciting opportunity to compete, grow, and have fun in a structured, high-level environment. We organize players into balanced teams modeled after WNBA franchises. Our experienced coaches focus on both skill development and competitive play, ensuring each athlete thrives throughout the season.
Divisions by Grade:
- East: Grades 3–4
- Central: Grades 5–6
- West: Grades 7–8
Each player receives a custom gear package that includes a reversible jersey, uniform shorts, a team backpack, sweatshirt, and more.
Practices
Our Saturday practices begin in December and run through February, located on the Upper East Side. Each 75-minute session combines individual skills training with team development, giving players a strong foundation in all aspects of the game. To further support improvement, we also offer optional weeknight skill sessions on the Upper East and Upper West Sides. These sessions focus on sharpening footwork, shooting form, and ball-handling techniques.
Games
League games kick off in January and continue through early March, with most matchups held on Sundays. Every team participates in a 6-game regular season, followed by two weeks of playoffs. We’ll wrap up the season with a Playoff and Championship Weekend in early March at Basketball City (299 South St, Pier 36). Final dates will be confirmed closer to the event.
